My work sits at the intersection of International Relations, political violence, conflict studies, and social reproduction theory.
My DPhil research asks how gendered divisions of labour and the everyday social reproduction shape the organisation and governance of armed rebel groups, and what its political implications are for people-centred reconciliation.
I develop feminist approaches to conflict and security that foreground labour, embodiment, care, and the material practices through which political violence is sustained over time.
I am interested in how concepts of security and international order can be rethought from the perspective of social reproduction, political economy, and critical theory scholarship.
Current project
The SRARO project develops an original dataset and typology for examining variation in gendered social reproduction across armed rebel organisations.
